My Startup Lawyer Life

For over a decade, I have spent a significant portion of my professional time working with entrepreneurs, startup companies, angel investors and venture capitalists in an effort to help make the Greater Princeton Area a better entrepreneurial ecosystem.   My role is that of a business lawyer – I provide strategic guidance to, and negotiate and execute upon important business matters for, my clients, which matters include startup company formation, angel and venture investments, corporate governance, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic business and legal counseling.   I live and work in Princeton, and I lead my law firm’s (Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP) emerging company and venture capital practice.   

When I am not at work, I spend much of my time locally in the Princeton area with my family (Sundi, my wife, and my two kids, Summer and Liam) and friends, and you can often find me out and about running the back roads and trails in and around town.
